The QSC K12.2 is a 2,000W Class-D powered 2-way PA speaker with a 12" LF cone and 1.4" titanium compression driver, delivering 132 dB peak SPL (126 dB continuous) and 50 Hz–20 kHz response in a ~39 lb ABS enclosure. It features onboard DSP with Intrinsic Correction, DMT coverage (75° axisymmetric), factory presets, user scenes, and an LCD display for EQ/delay/crossover control. Inputs include XLR/TRS combo jacks and a 1/8" aux; outputs are XLR loop-thru and mix. It works as a main PA top, floor wedge, or flown.

The 12" woofer is the key differentiator from the smaller K10.2 (10") and K8.2 (8"), giving it the deepest low-end extension in the series and the ability to handle bass-heavy material (EDM, hip-hop, live bands) without a sub in many situations.

DSP & Coverage Technology
This is where the K12.2 earns its "next standard" reputation:

DMT™ (Directivity Matched Transition): The waveguide/horn coverage angle is matched to the woofer's natural dispersion at the crossover frequency. This eliminates the "hot spot" or "dead zone" that occurs when a wide-coverage woofer feeds a narrow horn (or vice versa). The result is a smooth, uniform 75° axisymmetric coverage pattern — the narrowest in the K.2 line, ideal for larger rooms where you want controlled throw.
Intrinsic Correction™: Uses dozens of spatially averaged acoustic measurements (originally developed for QSC line arrays) baked into the DSP to smooth the power response. In practice, the speaker sounds consistent across a wide range of room acoustics with little or no external EQ.
