The Mackie ProFX22v2 is a 22-channel, 4-bus analog mixer designed for live sound and recording applications. Released in 2015, it is renowned for its rugged "Built-Like-A-Tank" construction and comprehensive feature set that eliminates the need for extensive outboard gear.
The mixer is built around 16 Mackie Vita mic preamps, which offer extremely low noise and high headroom suitable for dynamic live environments. It features the ReadyFX effects engine, providing 16 digital effects including reverbs, delays, and choruses. For dynamic control, channels 11–14 include dedicated single-knob compression.
Signal shaping is handled by a 3-band EQ with sweepable mids on mono channels and a master 7-band graphic EQ that can be assigned to tune either the main outputs or monitor sends. The unit includes a built-in USB interface for direct 2-track recording to a computer or playback of digital audio, compatible with Mac and PC without requiring additional drivers.
The ProFX22v2 offers flexible routing with four subgroups and multiple auxiliary sends for monitor mixes. It supports 48V phantom power for condenser microphones and includes 100Hz low-cut filters on mic channels.

Designed for touring and installation, the mixer features a solid steel chassis with tough ABS side protection. It utilizes a robust internal multi-voltage power supply, allowing for worldwide use without external voltage converters. The faders are 60mm tapered for precise control, and the unit includes a "Break Switch" to instantly mute all channels for between-set music playback.
