Tama Imperialstar 5pc Complete Kit - Natural Zebrawood w/ Paiste Cymbals and Hardware

At Tama, tone and durability go hand-in-hand. The Imperialstar shells produce a full, deep resonance that makes every paradiddle sound surprisingly professional. While some beginner kits use cheap, double-sided tape, Tama glues the wrap finishes directly to the shell. This allows the wood and wrap to vibrate as a single unit, giving your drums a massive, cohesive voice.

• 100% Poplar Shells: 6-ply, 8mm poplar wood provides a warm, deep tone that punches well above its weight class.
• Precision Bearing Edges: Engineered for optimal energy transfer from the drumhead to the shell, ensuring your drums actually sing instead of just thudding.
• Ultra Low-Mass Lugs: These tiny but mighty lugs let the toms and floor tom resonate freely, unlocking rich, sustained tones.

Tama’s reputation for making indestructible drum hardware is well-earned, and they brought that heavy-duty expertise straight to the Imperialstar. You won't find any flimsy, wobbling stands here. From a throne that won't slowly sink while you play to a bass drum pedal that anchors firmly to the floor, this hardware setup is designed to keep everything exactly where you put it, even if you play like a caffeinated octopus.

• Rock-Solid Pedals: The bass drum pedal features an underside rock plate for unshakable stability, complete with independent tension and beater angle adjustments. So you can stomp on it with the force of a thousand angry rhinos, and it won't budge.
• Double-Braced Cymbal Stands: These three-tiered, fully adjustable stands are more stable than your grandpa's favorite chair. They refuse to tip over, no matter how hard you channel your inner rock god on that crash cymbal.
• Omnisphere Tom Holder: Featuring a highly adjustable 10.5mm ball-and-socket design, this double tom holder lets you find the perfect tom placement and lock it in for good. Because once you find your sweet spot, it should stay there forever.
