The Gretsch G5022CWFE Rancher White Falcon is a visually striking acoustic-electric guitar that combines the iconic styling of the legendary White Falcon with the booming tone of a jumbo body.  Part of Gretsch’s "Roots Collection," it features a distinctive triangular soundhole, gold-sparkle binding, and a gloss white finish.

The guitar is built for players seeking bold projection and classic aesthetics. It features a solid spruce top with scalloped X-bracing for resonance, paired with laminated maple back and sides that provide a balanced, bright tone. The body is a large jumbo cutaway shape, finished in gloss polyester with extensive gold sparkle binding on the body, neck, and headstock.

The neck is made of mahogany with a standard "U" shape and a laurel fingerboard featuring pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays. It has 21 vintage-style frets and a 25-inch scale length. Hardware is gold-plated, including deluxe die-cast tuning machines and knurled strap retainer knobs.

For amplified performance, the G5022CWFE is equipped with a Fishman® Presys III pickup system (some sources cite Isys+ or Sonicore depending on production run). This active onboard preamp includes:

Controls: Volume, Bass, Middle, and Treble EQ.
Features: A built-in chromatic tuner with an on/off switch and a low battery indicator light.
Pickup: An undersaddle piezo pickup captures the string vibration for a clear, natural acoustic tone when plugged in.
