The Friedman BE-OD is a highly regarded transparent overdrive pedal that replicates the tone of the legendary Friedman BE-100 "Brown Eye" tube amplifier. Built in the USA, it provides authentic British-voiced drive ranging from light breakup to high-gain metal tones.
Key features include:
Controls: Volume, Gain, Tight, Bass, Treble, and Presence knobs for extensive tone sculpting.
Performance: True bypass switching and operation on 9-18V DC power (no battery).
Variants: The BE-OD Deluxe adds a second channel with independent midrange controls and a 3-position Tight switch for rhythm and lead separation.
