The HeadRush FRFR-108 MKII is a 2,000-watt (peak) full-range, flat-response powered cabinet, released in December 2023, built primarily as a monitoring speaker for amp modelers and multi-FX processors. It uses an 8" woofer plus a 1" HF compression driver (crossover at 2 kHz), covering 52 Hz–20 kHz (−10 dB) with a max SPL of ~129 dB, and weighs just 21 lb (9.5 kg).
Key features over the original MKI:
Bluetooth 5.0 channel for streaming music from a phone/tablet
Two combo XLR + 1/4" inputs with independent volumes, plus an XLR direct out for FOH or daisy-chaining
HPF EQ switch (100 Hz) and ground-lift switch to tame muddy mixes and ground loops
Works as a floor wedge, upright, or pole-mounted (36 mm socket)
