The Fishman Loudbox Mini Charge (model PRO-LBC-500) is a portable, battery-powered acoustic amplifier designed for singer-songwriters, buskers, and small venue performances.  It delivers 60 watts of clean power through a custom 6.5-inch woofer and 1-inch soft dome tweeter, providing up to 108 dB SPL. Its defining feature is an internal rechargeable Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) battery that offers significant freedom from AC power outlets.

Key Specifications and Performance
The amplifier is engineered to balance portability with professional sound quality. It weighs approximately 21.2 to 21.8 lbs (9.6–9.9 kg) and features a compact chassis with a 10° built-in tilt to direct sound toward the audience or player's ears. The frequency response ranges from 80Hz to 20kHz, ensuring natural reproduction of acoustic instruments and vocals.

Battery Performance: The unit is powered by a sealed lead-acid battery with varying playtimes depending on usage volume:

Low Volume: Up to 18 hours
Average Volume: Approximately 12 hours
Full Volume: Approximately 4 hours
Charge Time: Roughly 10 hours using the included wall charger.

The Loudbox Mini Charge features two distinct channels with dedicated controls:

Instrument Channel Designed for acoustic guitars with active or passive pickups via a 1/4" input. Controls include:

Gain: Input level adjustment.
3-Band EQ: Separate controls for Low, Mid, and High frequencies.
Effects: Dedicated knobs for Digital Reverb and Dual-function Chorus.
Phase Switch: A feedback-fighting tool to correct phase issues.
Microphone Channel Equipped with an XLR input for dynamic microphones. Controls include:

Gain: Input level adjustment.
2-Band EQ: Controls for Low and High frequencies (no Mid control).
Effects: Digital Reverb only.
Both channels feed into a Master Volume control. The amp also includes a Balanced XLR D.I. output with a ground lift, allowing users to send a mixed signal directly to a house PA system while using the amp as a personal monitor.

A major upgrade over the standard Loudbox Mini is the inclusion of wireless connectivity. The unit supports Bluetooth (sources vary between 4.0 and 5.1 depending on the retailer listing, though newer stock typically reflects updated standards) allowing users to stream backing tracks from smartphones or tablets without cables.

Additional connectivity includes:

1/8" Auxiliary Input: For wired connections to media players.
No 1/4" Aux Input: Unlike the non-battery Loudbox Mini, the Charge model removes the second 1/4" instrument input to accommodate the battery electronics.

The amplifier is designed for mobility, often used with the optional Deluxe Carry Bag (ACC-LBX-CC5), which protects the unit and includes pockets for the power cord. For users needing to charge on the go, Fishman offers an optional 12V Car Charger (ACC-PCC-005). The unit comes with a standard wall charger suitable for home or studio use.
