KingKORG NEO features the XMT virtual analog sound engine, designed for a broad range of sounds while remaining user-friendly. XMT, or eXpanded Modelling Technology, simplifies sound crafting by offering preset algorithms that eliminate the need for extensive oscillator adjustments. With a variety of oscillator algorithms, from classic analog waves to intricate noise patterns and PCM/DWGS, the KingKORG NEO caters to diverse musical preferences.

At the heart of the KingKORG NEO lies its meticulously designed filter section, essential for defining its unique sonic character. The synthesizer includes a wide range of filters, echoing the iconic analog monophonic and polyphonic synths of the '70s and '80s, as well as Korg’s own MS-20. These filters can self-oscillate when resonance is increased, offering a vast range of sonic possibilities from ethereal textures to powerful resonant tones.

The KingKORG NEO is equipped with a balanced XLR input and a high-quality microphone, making it easy to dive into vocoding. Its 16-band filter rivals dedicated vocoder machines, allowing for classic and unique sounds through formant shift and band adjustments. The innovative use of Timbre B as a modulator, along with the ability to select each oscillator as a source, creates a rich mix of voice and instrument for limitless sonic exploration.

KingKORG NEO offers an extensive library of 200 stage-ready preset programs, spanning eight categories like SYNTH, LEAD, and BASS. These presets provide an intuitive gateway to finding the perfect sound for any scenario, catering to the modern music maker. This vast array of preset programs ensures that you have immediate access to high-quality sounds suitable for a variety of musical contexts.
