The Ibanez SR500AMHL is a 4-string electric bass guitar from Ibanez's Standard SR series, designed for players seeking professional-level playability and tone at an accessible price point. The SR500AMHL features a lightweight Okoume body with a Mahogany Brown Burst Low Gloss finish, offering a rich, sophisticated look with a smooth, non-reflective surface.  Its 5-piece roasted maple/walnut neck provides excellent stability and a fast, smooth feel, while the bolt-on SR4 neck joint ensures clarity and punch in the tone.  The rosewood fingerboard is adorned with elegant abalone oval inlays and includes 24 medium frets for extended range and effortless playability.

Equipped with dual Bartolini BH2 passive humbuckers (neck and bridge), the SR500AMHL delivers a balanced, full-bodied tone with strong mids and clear highs.  The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ (bass, mid, treble) allows for precise tonal shaping, with a 3-way mid-frequency switch (250Hz, 450Hz, 700Hz) and an EQ bypass switch for a clean, passive tone when desired.
