The Ibanez QX52B is a high-performance, headless electric guitar introduced in 2026 as part of Ibanez's Q Series (also known as the Quest series). Designed for modern players, it combines ergonomic innovation with premium materials and advanced electronics, making it ideal for technical genres like metal, fusion, and experimental music.

The QX52B features a compact, lightweight okoume body with a Weathered Black (WK) satin polyurethane finish, offering a sleek, tactical aesthetic.  Its headless design enhances balance and reduces weight, while the bolt-on AANJ (All Access Neck Joint) ensures seamless access to all 24 frets.

  • Neck: 3-piece roasted maple/bubinga with a Parallel Wizard profile (19 mm thickness at both 1st and 12th frets), providing consistent feel and stability.

  • Fretboard: Ebony with a 508 mm (20") radius, 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, mother of pearl step off-set dot inlays, and luminescent side dots for low-light visibility.

  • Scale Length: 25.5" (648 mm), standard for precise tuning and string tension.

Equipped with a pair of Q58 humbucking pickups (passive/ceramic), the QX52B delivers high-output, articulate tones with excellent clarity and minimal noise—even under high gain.  The dyna-MIX10 switching system, combined with a 5-way lever switch and an "Alter Switch" toggle, provides 10 distinct pickup configurations, including coil-tapped tones that mimic single-coil sounds without volume drop.

  • Controls: 1 volume, 1 tone knob

  • Bridge: Ibanez Mono-Tune with integrated tuning mechanisms (10.8 mm string spacing), offering wide intonation range and stable tuning—ideal for down-tuning.

  • Tuners: Ibanez Custom String Lock system allows quick string changes without requiring proprietary strings.

  • Output Jack: Side-mounted ¼" stereo barrel jack.

The slanted (fanned) frets and Parallel Wizard neck are engineered for fast, precise playing, making techniques like tapping, fingerstyle, and slapping more ergonomic.  The zero-drag feel and stainless steel frets ensure long-term durability and effortless bends.

Ideal for:

  • Technical metal

  • Jazz-rock fusion

  • Progressive rock

  • Studio recording

  • Gig bag included

  • Factory strings: D'Addario EXL110 (.010–.046)
