Go back in time with this Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition 1963 Stratocaster Relic in a beautiful period-correct Lake Placid Blue finish.  Fender has done a fantastic job making this instrument as historically accurate as possible, and the sheer quality and craftsmanship that went into making this guitar is nothing short of awe inspiring.  With its tried and true tone wood combination of an alder body, maple neck and rosewood fretboard, this guitar is chock full with vintage vibe and mojo, and leaves nothing to the imagination.

Featuring a roasted quarter dawn maple neck with a 9.5” radius, narrow tall 6105 frets, and a 1.65” nut width, this guitar feels like absolute butter in the hands.  A neck depth of .83” at the nut and a whopping 1” at the 12th fret, this neck is chunky and fills the hand with one of the most comfortable carves we’ve felt.  The neck is topped off with a true bone nut, vintage style clay fretboard dots, and a classic style Fender decal.

Tonally, this Strat is exactly what a Strat should sound like.  The pickups are hand-wound Texas Special single coils made in the custom shop, with a 5-way blade switch allowing for in-between pickup positions.  The pots are 250k 10% taper split, and the knobs and pickup covers are relic’d to match the aesthetic of the rest of the instrument.

These Fender custom shop guitars are truly some of the nicest instruments made in the world, and we promise that this is the Strat of Strats.  Also included is the original hard shell case with Certificate of Authenticity, ashtray bridge cover, Fender Custom Shop strap, tremolo arm, extra springs, and more case candy.
