Excellent condition. Plays like a dream and functions as it should. Original Seymour Duncans have been upgraded to Jim Wagner Fillmores. Tailpiece has also been upgraded to a Lightening Guitars version. Original tailpiece is included. Includes case. See pics. Extremely light fretwear. There is some lightening of the finish on the back of the neck joint, which is fairly common. Top is really clean, but back has a good amount of light rash over all of it.

The Hamer Studio Custom is a USA-made, double-cutaway (Les Paul–style) solid-body electric guitar produced by Hamer Guitars (founded 1973 in Wilmette, Illinois), with early-2000s examples dating to ~2001–2005. It was part of Hamer's higher-end "Studio Custom" tier, built with a mahogany body and neck, flamed maple top, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, Schaller tuners, a Tune-O-Matic-style bridge, and Seymour Duncan '59 humbuckers (some with a JB in the bridge), typically in '59 Burst, Honey, or Natural finishes.

Era note: Built in the USA during the late-90s to early-2000s, before Fender bought the brand from Kaman Music in 2012 and wound down the custom-shop heritage.
Known quirk: Some mid-90s to early-2000s examples show "hameritis," a cosmetic finish flaw where glue seeped out and yellowed the clearcoat near the neck joint — it doesn't affect playability.

The Jim Wagner Fillmore is a hand-wound humbucker set from Jim Wagner Pickups (JWP, formerly WCR), designed to replicate the tones used in the Fillmore East recordings by Duane Allman and the Allman Brothers Band.

Tone character: PAF-style but hotter, with rich mids, clear highs, and strong slide capability. Owners consistently describe it as "the Duane tone" — warm and full without getting muddy, with excellent note separation and dynamic response to the volume knob. It's widely regarded as one of the best classic rock / slide-oriented humbucker sets available.
