Very good condition. Sounds amazing and functions as it should. Plenty of scratches, dings, scuffs, blemishes and finish checking all over, See pics. Includes case. Very light fretwear. Plays easily in 1st position, but would need a neck reset to help the higher frets' playability. Still playable on every fret, just a little harder up higher on the fingerboard. Priced accordingly.
The Guild F-48 "Navarre" was a jumbo acoustic guitar made in the USA from 1972 to 1976, and is now considered a rare and highly regarded vintage instrument. Key specs:
Body: Jumbo, solid Sitka spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, gloss natural finish
Neck: 3-piece mahogany, C-profile, 25.5" scale, 1 11/16" nut width
Fretboard: Rosewood, 20 frets, 12" radius, pearl block inlays
Bridge: Rosewood with bone saddle
Hardware: Grover "Pat Pending" Rotomatic tuners
Details: Tortoiseshell pickguard, white ABS binding, pearl Guild logo headstock inlay
Players describe the F-48 as gutsy, punchy, and forward-sounding — more like a clear dreadnought than a J-200, with a thick midrange from the mahogany back/sides combo.
