Audio Fidelity: Employs a 16-bit linear recording system utilizing a 64x oversampling Delta-Sigma A/D converter and an 18-bit 8x oversampling D/A converter.
Sampling Rates: Supports standard recording and playback at 44.1 kHz (CD standard) and 48 kHz via analog inputs and can handle 32 kHz digital streams.
Standalone DAC Mode: The unit can function purely as a high-quality external D/A or A/D converter without needing a DAT tape running through the transport.
Robust Analog & Digital I/O: Features professional balanced XLR (+4 dBu) inputs/outputs, unbalanced consumer RCA phono lines, alongside studio-standard AES/EBU and coaxial S/PDIF digital connectivity.
Front Panel Controls: Features large, tandem-interlocked Left/Right input level knobs, a dedicated output level control, a headphone output with independent volume control, and a digital "Margin" peak-hold meter to precisely monitor remaining headroom before digital clipping occurs.
