The Hotone Omni AC is a compact acoustic simulator pedal designed to transform the tone of both electric and acoustic guitars into a wide variety of authentic acoustic instruments. Utilizing Hotone’s CDCM (Comprehensive Dynamic Circuit Modeling) and "Black-Tek" technology, it delivers organic, high-headroom sound without the need to switch instruments.

The pedal is built around an advanced DSP platform with 24-bit A/D/A conversion, ensuring high dynamic response and clarity.  A standout feature is its internal voltage boost circuit, which provides significant headroom even when using a standard 9V DC power supply, preventing signal compression and maintaining a clean tone. 

It comes pre-loaded with 15 high-quality acoustic simulations, allowing users to emulate:

• Steel-string and nylon-string guitars

• Various body shapes (Dreadnought, Jumbo, Grand Auditorium)

• Acoustic basses (fretless and double bass)

• Mandolin

Users can further sculpt their tone using a detailed 4-band semi-parametric EQ with a flexible frequency range and up to 12dB of boost or cut.  The pedal includes a high-resolution OLED screen for easy parameter viewing and preset management.

The Omni AC is designed for versatility in both live and studio environments. It features a comprehensive set of inputs and outputs:

• Outputs: Includes a standard 1/4" output and a balanced XLR output with a ground lift switch for direct connection to mixing boards or PA systems. 

• Thru Jack: A 1/4" thru output allows the dry, unprocessed signal to be sent to other pedals or amplifiers simultaneously. 

• Practice Tools: Equipped with a headphone output for silent practice and an Aux In jack to connect external audio sources like smartphones or MP3 players. 

• Editing: Presets can be managed and edited via the onboard controls or through free PC/Mac software connected via USB. The footswitch is assignable, allowing it to function as bypass, mute, or preset scrolling.
