Pre-owned Fender Limited Edition 65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue Blonde w/cover

The Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue Limited Edition from the 1990s is a highly sought-after tube combo amplifier that faithfully recreates the iconic blackface-era Fender sound from the mid-1960s.  While Fender has released various limited editions over the years, including in the 2010s, authentic 1990s versions of the Limited Edition '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue are rare and typically refer to special runs or custom finishes produced during that decade.

  • 2 x 6V6GT (power)

  • 1 x 5AR4 (rectifier)

  • 4 x 12AX7, 2 x 12AT7 (preamp and reverb/tremolo)

• Speaker: 1x12" Jensen C-12K (standard) or Eminence Special Design

• Channels: Dual — Normal and Vibrato (with tube-driven tremolo and spring reverb)

• Construction: PCB (printed circuit board), not hand-wired, but designed to mirror original AB763 circuitry

• Finish: Typically blonde tolex with silver grille cloth for Limited Edition models from the 1990s

• Made in: USA (Corona, California) 

While the standard '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue was introduced in 1993, the Limited Edition variants were produced in smaller runs, often as FSR (Fender Special Run) models or custom shop collaborations.  The 1990s blonde version is particularly notable and was likely produced in the mid-to-late 1990s. These models are collector’s items due to their vintage-correct aesthetics and all-tube tone.
