Mid 70's Fender USA MusicMaster Bass (Pre-Owned) - Olympic White w/ Case
Fender
$1,249.99
Very good condition for it's age. All original, including the case. It is not without its numerous dings, scratches and abrasions (see pics), which only add to the "cool-factor" of this bass. Structurally sound and plays and sounds fantastic! All electronics are original and in working order. Neck and frets in good shape with some minimal fret-wear. Neck was crafted by legendary Fender "Neck-Guru" Herbert "Herbie" Gastelum. Herbie's career with Fender spanned a fabled 56 Years!
According to Fender, Herbie Gastelum was to necks what "Queen of Tone" Abigail Ybarra was to pickups: The undisputed "King of Feel." Fender Chief Product Officer Richard McDonald noted in an interview on Fender.com how Herbie’s work also reached some of the world’s greatest members of Rock Royalty. “It’s humbling when I stop to consider his body of work over the years,” said McDonald. “His fingerprints are everywhere; his tenure spans the careers of the most iconic artists to hold a guitar, from Jimi Hendrix, to Eric Clapton, to Jeff Beck, to Ritchie Blackmore. Fender’s history has passed through Herbie’s hands.”
