Marshall SV20H 20 Watt Tube Head
The Marshall SV20H is a 20-watt tube amplifier head that recreates the iconic tone of the 1959 Super Lead "Plexi" in a compact, modern format. It is designed to deliver saturated blues grit and biting rock leads at volume levels suitable for modern stages and home studios.
Key features and characteristics include:
Tube Configuration: It uses 2x EL34 power tubes and 3x ECC83 preamp/phase-splitter tubes.
Power Scaling: A switch allows users to reduce output from 20 watts to 5 watts, though many users note it remains extremely loud even at the lower setting.
Controls: It features four separate inputs (two normal, two high treble) with loudness controls, a 3-band EQ with Presence, and a switchable effects loop.
Outputs: Includes 5 speaker outputs (selectable for 4, 8, or 16 ohms) and a DI output with cabinet simulation for direct recording.
