Feast your eyes on the Epiphone Futura Les Paul Custom Figured in Rally Red! This Independent Dealer Exclusive takes the traditional Les Paul Custom formula and gives it a distinctly modern, hot-rodded personality. Its classic single-cutaway mahogany body is dressed up with a beautifully figured maple top and a striking transparent Rally Red gloss finish, while bold white racing stripes running through the center give the guitar an unmistakable muscle-car-inspired appearance. Multi-ply Custom-style binding, nickel hardware, an ebony fingerboard, split-block inlays, and the traditional split-diamond headstock treatment keep the guitar firmly rooted in Les Paul Custom territory.

Underneath the aggressive cosmetics is one of Epiphone's most performance-oriented Les Paul designs. The Futura combines Ultra-Modern weight relief, a sculpted Modern Contoured Heel, a fast Modern C mahogany neck, a 10"-14" compound-radius ebony fingerboard, and exceptionally durable stainless-steel frets. A pair of Epiphone ProBucker Ignite humbuckers provides a hotter, tighter version of classic PAF-style tone, with enough output for modern rock and high-gain playing while retaining clarity and note definition. Push/pull switching adds coil-split and phase options, making the Futura considerably more versatile than a traditional Les Paul Custom.

Locking Grover Rotomatic tuners, a Graph Tech nut, LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece complete the modernized package. The result is a guitar that combines the sustain and authority of a Les Paul with contemporary playability, expanded electronics, and one of the most distinctive finishes Epiphone has offered.
