The Mayones Jassper Nidra 6 in Monolith Retro White is a signature electric guitar designed in collaboration with Polish virtuoso Jakub Żytecki.  Released in 2024, this instrument represents a departure from Mayones' typical high-gain models, aiming instead for a "dialogue between old and new" by blending vintage 1960s aesthetics with modern ergonomics and tonewoods.

The guitar features a striking offset body shape reminiscent of mid-60s designs, finished in a matte Monolith Retro White that highlights the grain of the tonewoods.  Key visual elements include a 3-ply tortoise pickguard, white acrylic block inlays, and Luminlay Super Blue side dots for low-light visibility.  The hardware is chrome, providing a classic contrast to the white finish.

Constructed in Gdańsk, Poland, the Jassper Nidra 6 utilizes Tonally Enhanced Wood (TEW) throughout for increased resonance and sustain. 

Body and Neck

• Body Material: Profiled Swamp Ash (TEW) with a back belly cut and contoured neck heel. 

• Neck: 1-Piece Hard Rock Maple (TEW) with a matte finish and "D" shape profile. 

• Fretboard: 4A Birdseye Maple (TEW) with a 12" (305mm) radius. 

• Scale Length: 25.4" (645mm).

• Frets: 24 extra-jumbo frets made of Ferd Wagner Stainless Steel.

• Nut: Graph Tech TUSQ, 43.5mm width.

The guitar is equipped with custom Mayones Velvetrone pickups designed to cover genres from R&B to metal:

• Neck Pickup: Velvetrone Exile (Jakub Żytecki Signature Noiseless Single-Coil), offering warm, chimey vintage tones. 

• Bridge Pickup: Velvetrone Ironside (Humbucker), providing high output, focused midrange, and aggressive attack. 

• Controls: 3-way switch, master volume (with push-pull coil split), passive tone, and a dedicated Silk-R Intensity knob with a mini slide switch for boost activation. 

• Hardware: Gotoh 510 Tremolo bridge with brass saddles and Gotoh 510 Locking tuners for stability.  Includes Schaller Security Straplocks and a Switchcraft output jack.
