8lbs 10oz.
Very good condition. Plays great and functions as it should. Freshly setup and restrung. Original trem arm is missing. There is a myriad of scratches, dings and blemishes. Worst one is on bottom edge. Includes case. Sounds really cool and feels great. Extremely light fretwear for its age. Back plate over trem cavity is slightly cracked. See pics.
The 1979 Greco GO-II 600 is a highly regarded vintage electric guitar from Japan’s “lawsuit era,” representing Greco’s shift from copying American designs to creating original, high-quality instruments. Part of the GO (“Greco Original”) series, the GO-II 600 was designed to compete with models like the Ibanez Musician line and showcased advanced craftsmanship for its time.
The GO-II 600 debuted in 1979 as an evolution of the original 1977 GO series. It features a distinctive asymmetrical body shape, six-on-a-side headstock, and a Stratocaster-inspired aesthetic, but with unique construction and electronics that set it apart from typical copies.

The GO series marked Greco’s move toward originality during the late 1970s, distancing itself from the “copy wars” with Gibson and Fender. The GO-II, introduced in 1979, refined the original GO’s design with a more Fender-like appearance, improved ergonomics, and enhanced electronics. These guitars were produced in collaboration with Fujigen Gakki, the same factory that later built instruments for Fender Japan and Ibanez.
