As with any bass guitar, the choice of tonewoods Schecter used has a huge impact on both the sound and feel of the Stiletto Stealth. To keep this not-insubstantial instrument light enough to play for hours yet resonant enough for metal, Schecter selected basswood for the body and maple for the neck. This combination gives the Stiletto Stealth plenty of punch, without limiting the low-end impact you can expect from this bass.
