The Trace Elliot Transit A is an acoustic preamp and effects pedal designed specifically for acoustic guitarists. It includes built-in compression, a notch filter, pre-shape, and simple EQ controls to ensure a great basic tone, while also offering user-definable boost, chorus, delay, and reverb for artistic expression.

The Transit A features a back-lit control panel that doubles as a chromatic tuner for accurate tuning.It also has built-in Pre and Post XLR balanced outputs, a dry output, and a headphone output, providing the user with the necessary ins and outs for optimal live coverage.

The unit measures 12.3 inches wide by 4.5 inches deep by 2.3 inches high and weighs around 2.5 pounds, making it compact and portable. It is designed to work with any type of acoustic pickup and includes a piezo button for 10dB of boost, which is useful for guitars without a built-in preamp.
