Design & Build Quality

The guitar boasts a roasted maple neck and fingerboard, contributing to enhanced stability, smooth playability, and a rich tonal character.  Its asymmetrical neck profile ensures comfort during extended playing sessions, while the 22 narrow frets and 12" radius offer precise control for both chords and lead work.  The double-locking tremolo system provides excellent tuning stability, even with aggressive whammy bar use. 

Equipped with dual Alnico humbuckers and a 3-way pickup selector, the AX50QM delivers a versatile range of tones—from thick, punchy rhythms to singing leads.  A single volume knob keeps the control layout simple and intuitive. While the stock pickups are praised for their clarity and punch, some users note they are slightly muddier than those on higher-end EBMM models—making them ideal for home and stage use, though tone enthusiasts may consider upgrades later.
