The RS Guitarworks Bakersfield Player in Inca Silver features an under-the-bed-aged W.W.L.D. nitro lacquer finish, a double-bound ash/paulownia body, and a 63 C-shaped maple neck with a 10" radius maple fingerboard and 6105 frets. It has a 25.5" scale length, a 1 5/8" nut width, and is equipped with an RS Kentucky Hot Brown bridge pickup, 3-way switching with "E" style wired volume and tone controls, and a vintage string-thru body bridge with three compensated steel saddles. The guitar is fitted with Kluson tuners. This model is part of the Player Series, which offers ready-to-go instruments with designs from RS Guitarworks, including the Bakersfield Player. The Bakersfield Player is described as a modern take on the early 1960s custom design, incorporating elements from guitars built between 1959 and 1961 with a flatter radius, slightly larger frets, and compensated saddles. The Inca Silver finish is available on this model, and it is noted for its versatility and high-quality craftsmanship. The "Under the Bed" relic finish level, as defined by RS Guitarworks, gives the guitar the look and feel of an instrument that has been stored away for about 30 years, featuring a slightly dulled finish with some checking but minimal wear.
