The Mesa/Boogie Badlander 25 1x12 Combo is a compact, 25-watt tube amplifier designed for guitarists seeking a powerful, versatile tone in a portable package. It features two channels, each with three selectable voicings—Clean, Crunch, and Crush—offering a total of six distinct tones through Mesa's Channel Cloning™ technology. The amp delivers its sound through a single 12-inch Celestion Creamback 65 speaker, mounted in a marine-grade Baltic Birch cabinet, and is powered by two Mesa EL-84 power tubes and five 12AX7 preamp tubes. A global 25/10 watt power switch allows the user to select between 25 watts for maximum power and clarity or 10 watts for a sweeter, more harmonically rich tone at lower volumes, with the power tubes operating in Class A/B Triode mode at 10 watts and Dyna-Watt™ Class A/B Pentode mode at 25 watts.

The amp includes a tube-driven, series FX loop for effects integration, a built-in CabClone™ IR (Impulse Response) cabinet simulator with eight included Mesa cabinet IRs, a balanced XLR direct output with ground lift, a headphone output with level control, and a USB port for loading and transferring IRs. It also features a 1-button footswitch for channel switching and comes with a fitted slipcover. The amplifier is constructed with an aluminum chassis and is built in Petaluma, California, using high-quality materials. The Badlander 25 weighs 40 pounds (18.14 kg) and measures 17 7/8 inches in height, 19 inches in width, and 11 1/8 inches in depth.
