The Line 6 PowerCab CL 212 is a 200-watt, active, open-back 2x12-inch guitar speaker cabinet designed for amp modelers, pedalboard setups, or compact amp simulations.  It features two traditional 12" guitar speakers and delivers a natural, room-filling tone with a classic cab feel. 

Key Features:

• Two operating modes:

  • Speaker Voicing mode: Select from six virtual speaker voicings (e.g., Greenback, V30, 4x12) that shape the cabinet’s response to emulate iconic speakers. 

  • Power Amp In mode: Bypasses all modeling for a neutral, transparent signal path—ideal for using with your amp modeler’s cab block. 

• 3-band room EQ: Low, Mid, and High boost/cut controls help tailor the sound to your room’s acoustics. 

• Flexible routing:

  • XLR/1/4" combo input for easy connection to modelers or pedals. 

  • XLR output with IR loading allows you to send a mix-ready, virtual cab signal to FOH, a recording interface, or a mixer—using six factory IRs or your own via the free Powercab CL IR Loader app. 

• Connectivity:

  • MIDI input for external control (e.g., from a pedalboard or controller). 

  • USB-B port for firmware updates, IR loading, and USB MIDI.

• Portability & build: Lightweight open-back design with durable construction, suitable for both practice and live performance.
