The JHS Bonsai is a 9-way overdrive pedal that replicates the circuitry of nine different classic Tube Screamer-style overdrives and modifications, packing them into a single housing. It features nine distinct modes, including the OD1 (1977), TS808 (1979), TS9 (1982), MSL (1985), TS10 (1986), XR (1989), TS7 (1999), Keeley (2002), and JHS (2008) "Strong Mod". Unlike digital modelers, the Bonsai uses authentic analog circuitry, with each mode passing the guitar signal through a replica of the original pedal's components, meticulously recreated by JHS founder Josh Scott using vintage units and an Audio Precision analyzer to account for component drift. The pedal includes Volume, Drive, and Tone controls, true bypass switching, and is handwired with a rugged build. It is manufactured in the United States and is available in a green finish.
