The Ibanez SR300EDX Black Ice Frozen Matte is a modern 4-string electric bass designed for players seeking a lightweight, ergonomic, and tonally versatile instrument.  It features a striking Black Ice Frozen Matte finish that gives it a sleek, icy aesthetic, complemented by gold hardware for a premium look. 

The SR300EDX is built around Ibanez’s renowned SR series design, known for comfort, playability, and modern tone. 

• Body: Made from Nyatoh, the body delivers warm, punchy mids and rich sustain while remaining lightweight (around 8.2 lbs).  Its deep double-cutaway design allows easy access to higher frets.

• Neck: A slim, fast 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck (SR4 profile) provides excellent tonal clarity and attack.  The 34" scale length and 38mm nut width make it comfortable for extended playing. 

• Fretboard: Features a Jatoba fingerboard with 24 medium frets and white dot inlays, offering a smooth, responsive feel ideal for fast runs and intricate lines. 

• Pickups & Electronics: Equipped with dual PowerSpan Dual-Coil pickups and an active 3-band EQ (bass, mid, treble).  A 3-way Power Tap switch lets you switch between humbucker, single-coil, and split-coil tones, offering wide tonal flexibility across genres like rock, pop, jazz, and metal. 

• Bridge: The Accu-Cast B500 bridge has adjustable saddles (±1.5mm) for custom string spacing and improved intonation, enhancing playability and sustain.
