The Ibanez BTB625EX is a high-performance 5-string electric bass introduced in 2021 as part of Ibanez’s Iron Label series, designed for aggressive, heavy music styles. Built with neck-through construction in Indonesia, it features premium components aimed at delivering powerful tone, exceptional sustain, and precise playability.

Body & Neck

• Body Material: Okoume wings

• Neck: 5-piece maple/walnut with graphite reinforcement rods for stability and enhanced sustain

• Scale Length: 35" (889mm) – ideal for extended low-end tuning and tight string response

• Neck Joint: Neck-through-body for improved resonance and access to upper frets

• Fingerboard: Ebonol (a synthetic composite made from paper and phenolic resin), offering a bright, tight sound

• Frets: 24 medium stainless steel frets plus a zero fret for consistent tone and intonation 

• Pickups: Dual Bartolini BH2 passive pickups (neck and bridge) – known for clarity, punchy mids, and tight low end
