The Epiphone Jorma Kaukonen Signature Riviera Deluxe is a semi-hollowbody electric guitar produced from 2000 to 2005. It features a maple top, bound body and neck, gold hardware, and '57 Classic Alnico pickups. The guitar is available in a right-handed configuration with a scale length of 24.75 inches and has a set-neck maple construction. It was designed to Jorma Kaukonen's specifications, who is known for his work with Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna.
The guitar underwent a minor change in 2003 when it switched from a Vibrotone tailpiece to a licensed Bigsby vibrato. It has a double cutaway body shape and a HH (humbucker-humbucker) pickup configuration
The Jorma Kaukonen Signature Riviera Deluxe is part of Epiphone's Artist Collection and is known for its excellent playability and tonal versatility. It can produce a wide range of sounds, from clean and jazz-like tones to distorted and funky sounds.
