The Echopark Esperanto 313 is a custom-built, semi-hollow electric guitar developed in collaboration with Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age, conceived by luthier Gabriel Currie.  It blends vintage aesthetics from iconic guitars like the Gibson ES-330 and Gibson Casino with modern refinements.

Key Features:

  • Body: Laminated semi-hollow maple body with a mahogany center block, offering a balanced, resonant tone with reduced feedback.

  • Neck: Available in mahogany or Korina (a lightweight, tonally rich wood), featuring a soft V-shaped neck profile (also called 58 V-C sm carve), 12-inch fingerboard radius, and 1-5/8” (1.3125”) nut width.

  • Fingerboard: Rosewood (standard) or Brazilian Rosewood (on select models), with dot inlays and bound edges.

  • Pickups: Custom Arcane humbuckers (PAF-style clones), with measurements of 7.53K (neck) and 8.21K (bridge).  Some models feature a bridge P90 and neck P90 configuration.

  • Electronics: Two volume and two tone controls, a three-way pickup selector, and a unique coil split blend control (located where a bridge tone control would typically be).

  • Hardware: Vintage-style Grover open-gear tuners, non-wired ABR-1 bridge, stop tailpiece, and nickel-plated hardware.

  • Known for its acoustic ring, sustain, and harmonic complexity.

  • Excels in clean tones, jazz, blues, and overdriven rock, with a "vocal" quality in lead lines.

  • The deep neck profile is comfortable due to its smooth V-to-D carve, and the wide, tall frets (Jescar 9055) ensure excellent playability.

The Esperanto 313 is celebrated as a "fierce custom-built rock machine" and a modern benchmark for semi-hollow guitars, praised for its craftsmanship, tone, and connection to rock history.
