The BOSS DD-7 Digital Delay is a compact, versatile pedal offering up to 6.4 seconds of delay time, a significant increase from previous models. It features a Hold mode that allows for up to 40 seconds of sound-on-sound recording, effectively functioning as a looper. The pedal includes four distinct delay modes: standard delay, Modulation Delay (producing chorus-like effects), Analog Delay (modeled after the classic BOSS DM-2 for a warm, tape-like sound), and Reverse Delay. It boasts stereo outputs for creating wide, immersive effects or splitting dry and wet signals, and it has an external expression pedal jack for real-time control of delay time, feedback, and effect level, as well as a jack for an external tap tempo footswitch. The DD-7 is powered by a 9V battery or an AC adapter.
