The Ibanez RG565R is a reissued and updated version of the original RG565R from 1989, produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Genesis Collection for 2025. It features a Desert Sun Yellow (DY) finish, along with an Electric Blue (EB) option. The guitar has a basswood body bolted to a maple and walnut Wizard neck, with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard that includes white binding and white sharktooth position markers. It also features a reversed headstock, Ibanez Infinity R neck pickup, V8 bridge pickup, Edge double locking tremolo bridge, and Gotoh machine heads.
