The Fender Custom Shop '50s Dual Mag II Stratocaster is a limited-edition electric guitar featuring a Journeyman Relic finish package and hand-wound Dual-Mag II pickups, designed to capture the authentic feel and sound of a vintage Stratocaster with modern refinements. These guitars are part of the Fender Custom Shop's mid-year collection and are known for their meticulous craftsmanship and unique finishes.

The Dual-Mag II pickups are a proprietary design, combining alnico 5 magnets from the low E through G strings with a specially designed "low G" magnet for a smooth transition between wound and plain strings, making the G string "sing" just right. The B and high E strings use hand-beveled alnico 2 magnets, which are slightly taller than vintage specifications to enhance string-to-string balance. These pickups are hand-wound and feature extra turns of wire, resulting in a hotter output while maintaining a well-balanced tone with shimmering highs and rich lows.
