Fender Custom Shop CuNiFe Special Run Black Guard Tele Bigsby Heavy Relic w/case

The Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Cunife Blackguard Telecaster Heavy Relic with Bigsby is a special model that combines elements of the classic Blackguard Telecaster with custom features, including a Cunife neck pickup and a Bigsby B-5 bridge and tailpiece. This guitar features a two-piece select ash body, a one-piece tinted rift-sawn maple neck with an 11/56 off-center "V" back-shape, and a 9.5" radius fingerboard with 21 narrow tall frets. The bridge pickup is a hand-wound '50-'51 Blackguard Tele, while the neck pickup is a wide-range Cunife humbucker, which uses an alloy of copper, nickel, and iron (Cunife) to produce a distinctive "hi fidelity" sound with rich bass and clear treble. The guitar includes Dual Stack HS Tele wiring with master volume and tone controls, a single-ply black phenolic pickguard, vintage-style tuners, a bone nut, and a disk string tree. It comes with a deluxe hardshell case, strap, and certificate of authenticity. The Cunife pickup was developed using samples of the original magnets over a two-year period, bringing the material back exactly as it was 40 years ago. The guitar is available in finishes such as Aged Butterscotch Blonde. The model is a limited edition, making it a highly sought-after instrument.
