Only one we've ever seen in this finish! Extremely rare!

Very good condition. Plays wonderfully and truly has that "holy grail," tone. Includes case and candy. One owner. There is some light buckle rash on back. There are some light scratches on headstock. There's also a finish issues one side of headstock from a hanger and just behind nut. (Came from factory that way.) Pickup covers are slightly tarnished, as well. Please see all pics.

The 2024 Gibson Custom Shop R9 1959 Les Paul Standard with a VOS (Vintage Original Sheen) finish is available in a Tri-burst color scheme, often referred to as "Hawaiian" in dealer-select contexts due to its specific flame maple top selection.  These models feature a mahogany body with a hand-selected AAA flame maple top, an Authentic '59 Medium C profile neck, and unpotted Gibson Custombuckers that replicate the sound of original 1959 PAF humbuckers.

The Tri-burst finish is characterized by a deep, rich coloration that often highlights the wood grain more intensely than standard sunbursts, and these guitars are built to true '59 specifications with hide-glued necks and long neck tenons for maximum sustain.
