The 2022 Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Tomatillo Telecaster Journeyman Relic is a high-end electric guitar featuring a two-piece select ash body and a one-piece rift-sawn maple neck with a '57 Soft V profile, offering a vintage feel with modern playability. It has a compound fingerboard radius of 7.25" to 9.5", 21 narrow tall (6105) frets, and a bone nut with a width of 1.625". The guitar is equipped with two Custom Shop hand-wound Tomatillo Tele single-coil pickups, which use Alnico 2 magnets to deliver a sweet, flavorful tone. These pickups are wired with a '51 Modified Nocaster configuration featuring a blender pot instead of a master tone control, and a Fat '50s control assembly is included in the case for those who prefer a different wiring setup.

The guitar features a reverse-angle Nocaster bridge with brass RSD saddles, vintage-style tuning machines, a single-ply parchment pickguard, and nickel/chrome hardware.  Each guitar comes with a deluxe tweed hardshell case, a strap, and a certificate of authenticity.
