The 2022 Fender Custom Shop LTD '59 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic is a premium, limited-edition electric guitar that blends vintage aesthetics with modern playability.  Designed to emulate the iconic 1959 Stratocaster, it features a Journeyman Relic finish—lightly aged to appear as if gently used, offering a "broken-in" feel without heavy wear. This model is crafted for players and collectors seeking authentic vintage tone and look with the reliability of a new instrument.

• Body: 2-Piece Select Alder, with deep body contours and a nitrocellulose lacquer finish in various aged colors (e.g., Sonic Blue, Seafoam Green, Aged Firemist Silver)

• Neck: Rift-sawn or quartersawn maple with a '59 or '60s-style "C" profile, 9.5" fingerboard radius, and 21 narrow-tall (6105) frets

• Fingerboard: Flat-lam rosewood with black dot inlays

• Pickups: Three hand-wound Fat '50s single-coil pickups, with reverse-wound/reverse-polarity (RWRP) middle pickup for hum cancellation

• Electronics: Vintage Modified Wiring #2 with tone-saver bleed, 5-way blade switch

• Hardware: Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut, wing string tree

• Extras: Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap, certificate of authenticity

The Fat '50s pickups deliver a warm, dynamic vintage voice with enhanced output, ideal for classic rock, blues, and country.  The 9.5" radius and narrow-tall frets offer a balanced feel—comfortable for both chording and lead playing.  The Journeyman Relic treatment ensures the neck feels smooth and broken-in right out of the case, while the lightweight alder body enhances resonance and comfort during long sessions.
