2012 Asher Redd Volkaert Signature Model (#3 of 10) (Pre-Owned) - Blonde w/ Gig Bag

Guitar is in GREAT playing shape. Low action and perfectly intonated. Cosmetically, this guitar has some significant checking in the clear-coat on the back of the guitar which was hard to photograph  The guitar shows light signs of use; the finish is glossy with minor scratches/swirls, and the back has several scattered small dings. There is minor finish checking on the top body, mostly near the edges, and there is some small chipping along the edges as well. (See highlighted pics).

Volkaert played in Merle Haggard’s backing band The Strangers in the spot previously staffed by Roy Nichols. In addition, he has recorded and performed with a who’s who of country music stars such as George Jones, Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley, Dwight Yoakam, Buck Owens, Alison Krauss, Bill Kirchen and many more.
