The Music Man Axis Super Sport HH Trem is a versatile guitar known for its balanced tone and playability. It features a perfectly balanced, single-cutaway body design that allows for easy access to all 22 stainless frets. The guitar is available with quilt maple top over a basswood body, which provides a combination suitable for hard-edge rock tones but also delivers a subtle dynamic response at lower volume levels.

The Axis Super Sport comes with custom DiMarzio humbucking pickups, which are custom-designed for this guitar model. It also includes a 5-way switch, volume/tone controls, and a vintage tremolo system. The neck is available in different options, including roasted, figured maple with a maple or rosewood fretboard.

The guitar is known for its comfortable asymmetric neck shape and locking Schaller tuners, which simplify string changes and keep the guitar in tune. The tremolo system is designed to work precisely without detuning, and the neck can be conveniently adjusted from the body.
