The 2003 Fender FSR (Factory Special Run) Vintage Player Stratocaster in Aztec Gold was a limited edition model produced by Fender, with only 250 units made in this specific color. This model was part of the Fender FSR Limited Edition series and was manufactured in Mexico. It features a C-shaped maple neck with a 7.25" radius and a rosewood fretboard, 21 vintage-style frets, and a 25.5" scale length. The guitar is equipped with three vintage-style single-coil pickups with staggered pole pieces, alnico magnets, and aged covers, along with a vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge and vintage-style tuners. The body is made from alder with a polyester finish, and the hardware is gold, distinguishing it from other models with chrome hardware. The guitar is known for its rare Aztec Gold finish and is considered a highly sought-after model due to its limited production run and vintage specifications.
