1995 Guild USA D-55 Natural w/case

Very good condition. Playing super easy and sounds great. Very light fretwear, especially for it's age. Does have some pick scratches on top and the occasional blemish. Also some rash on back. Includes case and candy. See all pics. 

The 1995 Guild USA D-55 is a high-quality acoustic guitar that has been praised for its craftsmanship and sound. It is part of the D-55 series, which was first introduced in 1968 as a special-order top-of-the-line model and later became a regular production model by 1974. The 1995 model features a natural or sunburst finish and is made with a solid AAA Sitka spruce top, solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, and an ebony fingerboard and bridge.

The guitar is known for its premium appointments, including a fully bound headstock with the Guild "Peak and Shield" inlay combination over a figured ebony overlay, and a matching ebony fingerboard with Guild's iconic abalone/pearl "V-Blocks" and multi-line "railroad track" purfling on the bass and treble sides. The D-55's nitro finish is hand sprayed for minimum thickness and maximum resonance, which improves with age.

In terms of specifications, the 1995 Guild USA D-55 has a dreadnought body shape, a 20-fret neck with a 12" radius, a 1.6875" nut width, and a 25.6" scale length. It also includes a tortoise pickguard, gold-plated Grover enclosed tuners, and a fully bound body.
