The Yamaha BB404 in Wine Red is a discontinued 4-string electric bass guitar known for its professional features at an entry-level price point.  While often associated with a "burst" finish due to the similar BB414 model, the BB404 Wine Red is typically a solid, deep red color featuring the sculpted body design of renowned bassist Nathan East. 

Key Specifications

The BB404 was designed as the most affordable model in the BB series while retaining high-quality construction standards. It features a solid alder body and a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard.  Unlike some entry-level instruments, it includes 24 frets and dual pickups to deliver a clear, powerful tone with reduced noise.  The hardware includes die-cast chrome tuners and a vintage-style bridge.
