Own a piece of guitar history with this beautiful Fender Custom Shop 1960 Telecaster Relic in a Natural Blonde finish, very similar to their Super Faded Nocaster Blonde finish in years past. This being a reissue, the Custom Shop has done a phenomenal job recreating the type of guitar that would have been produced in 1960, and this guitar is filled to the brim with vintage vibe and mojo. With its two-piece ash body and maple neck, nitrocellulose lacquer finish and vintage style 3-saddle bridge, this Tele is raw and authentic, ready to take on the stage or studio and complete your collection.
The hand-wound 58 Tele neck and bridge pickups are both crystal clear and full, defying many assumptions that are made about guitar pickups. They’re attached to a one-ply parchment telecaster pickguard along with a top-hat style switch cap and knurled knobs.
The neck features a 9.5” radius, 1.65” nut made of bone, and narrow tall 6105 frets. Neck depth at the first fret is .79”, and .93” at the 12th fret. The fret dots are Micarta White on both the face and the side, and it’s all topped off with a vintage style Fender decal on the headstock.
This is a fine instrument created by some of the top luthiers in the world. Includes original hard shell case, certificate of authenticity, shop traveler sheet, and bridge ashtray, among other case candy.
